Pop-duo Foley are made of Auckland friends Ash Wallace and Gabriel Everett. Formed almost as "a challenge between two long-time friends" who loved music, the duo write lyrics, sing and produce all their music together.
Foley call their single 'Talk About It' as "an anthem of confidence in the face of broken love - a reminder to be unapologetically emotional and own the situation you're in."
Stemmed from a real experience of a "public, passive aggressive fight that became symbolic for a failing relationship", the track explores what happens after there's no more room to reason and no common ground left to stand on. "No aggression, rather acceptance of being past the point of talking."
