To celebrate the release of his new album Melo & Bass, Melodownz pulled up to George Breakfast for a brand new edition of Bars Over Bangers – freestyling over two massive dance tracks: Flava D & P Money (UK)’s ‘Dutty’ and Notion’s huge remix of Chrystal’s ‘The Days’.
Bringing the energy with him, Mellow enlisted rap mates Brandn Shiraz and deadforest to join the chaos in studio with Lee & Tammy, capping things off with a live version of his new single with Caru, Feel Good Aura.

If you're a long-time George listener, the Bars Over Bangers name might ring a bell. The original went viral back in 2012, when Dirty Records took over the studio for a now-legendary freestyle sesh featuring Scribe, PNC, David Dallas and P-Money over the instrumentals of ‘Float My Boat’ (aka Azealia Banks '212' instrumental) and DJ Zinc's ‘Wile Out’. That one’s still a fan fave – and we reckon this new session’s ready to join the ranks.
