Remember that TV show, Dexter?
If you don't, can't blame ya - as it's been eight years since it's "final season" in 2013 - which was a bit of a flop if you ask many fans.
The crime drama TV series follows Dexter Morgan, a forensic technician working for Miami Metro Police Department, who also happens to be a serial killer, who hunts down murderers and criminals who slipped through the cracks of the justice system.
So he's a killer who kills bad people. You can make up your own mind if that makes him a good guy.
Anyway, the show was quite popular for quite a while, but shat the bed in its final season when shit just got way too stupid and non-sensical (the series ending finale has been regarded as the worst thing ever on television).
Fast-forward to 2021, and a new 9th season is on the way, starring Michael C Hall reprising his role of Dexter, living his new life in a new town - but still fighting his urge to kill.
Discussing why Dexter was coming back now, Hall told the Daily Beast: "It's a conversation that's been ongoing, and different possibilities have emerged over the years.
"I think in this case, the story that's being told is worth telling in a way that other proposals didn't, and I think enough time has passed where it's become intriguing in a way that it wasn't before."
"And let's be real: people found the way that show left things pretty unsatisfying, and there's always been a hope that a story would emerge that would be worth telling."
Watch the trailer above, it looks like it could be a really good watch.
