Jack Osbourne shares touching video montage and tribute to late dad Ozzy

The video shows stills and footage of Ozzy and his family from over the years.

Ozzy Osbourne’s son Jack has shared a touching tribute video for his late dad, titled ‘Some Memories of My Father.’

The video, posted to Jack’s YouTube channel, includes photos and videos of the father and son together - starting with a clip of a 12-year-old Jack appearing on the Howard Stern show next to his dad in 1997.

In the clip, Stern asks the young Jack how cool it is to have Ozzy as a dad, in which he replies, “very cool.”

The video, which is just over two and a half minutes long, then flicks through photos and videos of Jack and Ozzy throughout the years - including Ozzy being a grandad - while the late legend’s 1983 song So Tired can be heard.

"I haven't really wanted to post anything since the passing of my father. My heart has hurt too much," Jack wrote in the video description.

"He was so many things to so many people, but I was lucky and blessed to be part of a very small group who got to call him 'Dad.' My heart is heavy with sadness and sorrow, but also full of love and gratitude.

“I got 14,501 days with that man, and I know what a blessing that is."

Jack’s written tribute then continues with a S. Thompson quote, which Jack says ‘best describes’ his dad.

“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty

and well-preserved body… but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, ‘Wow! What a ride!’

“That was my dad. He lived — and he lived fully. I love you Dad,” Jack signed off the post.

Fans have flocked to the comments with messages of support to Jack, and tribute messages to Ozzy.

“When Ozzy smiled, he smiled with his whole heart! We love you Ozzy!” wrote one fan.

“Thank you Jack. I know none of us knew Ozzy personally but it felt like we did,” wrote another. “We adored your father. He was one of a kind and his music contributed to this world in ways no one will ever truly know. I wish your family the best in this time. Ozzy will live through his music for generations to come.”

Ozzy Osbourne passed away last month (July 22) surrounded by his family.

Earlier this week, Ozzy’s daughter Kelly thanked fans for the “love, support and beautiful messages” she’d received since her dad’s death.

“Every kind word, every shared memory, every bit of compassion has meant more than I can ever explain,” she wrote in an Instagram story.

“Grief is a strange thing — it sneaks up on you in waves — I will not be ok for a while — but knowing my family are not alone in our pain makes a difference. I’m holding on tight to the love, the light, and the legacy left behind.

She signed off the post, “Thank you for being there. I love you all so much. – Kelly #BirminghamForever #OzzyForever.”
