At 72, Cher has recently revealed her day's diet and how she stays so young and fit. Its been a year full of Cher after her fantastic starring in Mumma Mia, and her new Abba cover album. So here's all you need to know about how she maintains such excellent health.
She is a vegetarian, she doesn't like meat products and feels much more healthy on a diet of vegetables and fruit.
She also strictly believes in a healthy lifestyle and limits her alcohol consumption. She used to smoke but realised the harmful effects it had so she stopped this. Cher told Hello in an interview,
She has made sure she is informed about what foods are right for your body and bad, and sticks to the healthy foods with excellent benefits,
Cher has also given up dairy due to her body not digesting it well. She initially changed from whole milk to skim but thought she could find better results and so cut the product altogether as a result of the high cholesterol levels.
But she isn't all perfect and admits that while filming and on sets for crazy hours, she has had her fair share of binges,
In her 70's she is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon either as well as great diet habits Cher trains hard at the gym when she has time between tours and film shoots. She exercises 5 times a week not only to stay in shape but she also thoroughly enjoys it!
