McDonald’s has just introduced a new boujee version of a menu staple - the McCrispy.
It’s exactly how it sounds, a crispy coating over 100% NZ chicken breast, stacked with shredded lettuce, a creamy new signature McCrispy sauce, all smashed into a - I’m drooling already - potato bun!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m a McChicken girlie through and through. But this new and improved version is getting a big ol’ backing from me.
The thickness of the patty, the bun and the audible crunch is enough to make me jump in the car asap and head to the drive-thru.
While it’s new to NZ menus, the new chook burger has been getting the hype it deserves overseas in Australia, Canada, France and South Africa.
Honestly, this is quite a moment to document because after 15 years, I think I’m ready to switch it up.
