Watch Meg and Dan's 'interesting' debut DJ sets after lessons from actual DJ Sean Hill

They went off and by off, I mean off the rails.

Ever looked at a DJ and thought, I could do that?

Turns out it is a lot harder than you would think.

Last week, Sean from Edge Nights was filling in on Edge Breakfast while Clint was on holiday in Samoa, and he decided to give Meg and Dan some DJ lessons to see who could nail a set.

After a few lessons teaching them the basics of DJ'ing, Dan, and Meg took on the challenge and performed their debut sets on the decks.

They even came up with their own DJ names which sent us off the edge.

Meg chose to perform as Oprah Spinfree and Dan's ended up with Margaret Scratcher.

Dan was up first, mixing together the two iconic hits of One More Time by Daft Punk and Memories by Kid Cudi.

Dan really brought the hype and gave us the vibe of a Zumba instructor with his energy and commentary.

Up next was Oprah Spinfree mixing together the two huge hits of We Found Love by Rihanna and Calvin Harris and Low by Flo Rida featuring T-Pain.

In the nicest way possible, we didn't think Meg's set could go any worse than Dan's but boy we were wrong.

According to Meg, she couldn't hear anything through her headphones so she was unsure what was happening so we have to give her points for sticking with it.

Sean did have a piece of feedback for her though.

"You've killed the dancefloor," he said.

Tough critic.

Watch the full video showcasing both of the sets above and see if you could picture yourself getting down to Margaret Scratcher or Oprah Spinfree on a night out.

Let's just say Sean's job as the resident Edge DJ is well and truly safe but if anyone's looking for a professional hype man, Dan might be your man.
