'TikTok Now' is the latest social media platform to try and rip off 'BeReal' and we're not sure how to feel about it.
Of course, we've already told you about Instagram's sad attempt at trying to clone the idea and now TikTok has completely taken the concept from right under BeReal's feet, with a stand-alone app for users to upload their candid pics online.
How are they similar you ask? Well, according to TikTok, "TikTok Now invites you and your friends to capture what you're doing in the moment using your device's front and back camera. You'll receive a daily prompt at the same time as your friends to capture a 10-second video or a static photo and share it with your friends."
Hmm, that sounds oddly familiar, or should I say the exact fkn same!!
The only difference we can see so far is that TikTok Now gives us three whole minutes to respond and upload to the app, whereas BeReal only allows for two minutes.
Let me tell you though that extra minute of prep time will prove wonders for my stress levels!
Online users who also claim that TikTok is "copying" BeReal have taken to Twitter to vent their feelings about having yet another app to keep up to date with.

Jeez, who knew we could get so heated over a dang app - fair though - it is just another app to take up the little storage I can afford to keep on my phone. My only question is will it prove to be better than what we already have?
