Tommy Fury has revealed he was intoxicated when fiancée Molly-Mae Hague walked out on him with their daughter Bambi.
The boxer and 'Love Island' star opened up about his struggles with alcohol addiction in his new BBC docuseries ‘Tommy: The Good, The Bad, The Fury’.
In a teaser clip from the first episode, Tommy recalled his first thoughts as he realised his family left him.
“I’ve never even said this before, but when they’d actually left the house, I was actually drunk at that point,” he admitted. “So I don’t actually remember it that well, which was even more upsetting.”
“I woke up. I was like 'Sh**', and I was listening to probably the silence of the house for like an hour. I was like, 'F**k'. And that was the last time they’ve been here,” he added.
I’m not going to lie and say I knew the feeling of what it was like when they walked out, I didn’t because I was intoxicated.
Tommy said being a father and making sure he was there for Bambi is what kept him going.
“No matter how drunk I was, as long as Bambi’s routine stayed the same, I’d still be up in the morning, quarter past seven, making a bottle in the microwave, doing the milk, getting her up, bringing her down, making her breakfast.”
“I’m still doing all that and, in my mind, if I could keep my fatherly duties going everything else will be okay.”
Tommy previously addressed allegations that he cheated on Molly during their split in August 2024.
At the time, Tommy was speculated to have had an affair and was even rumoured to have gotten another woman pregnant.
Tommy first openly spoke about his drinking problem with the ‘Men’s Health’ podcast, clarifying that it was what led to issues in his and Molly’s relationship.
Molly and Tommy have since reunited, spending time together on family holidays, though the couple have kept their home life a lot more private than before.
