Elon Musk tweets about Sandstorm and random company called Sandstorm's Gold stock rises

Even Darude was a bit confused.

Elon Musk's tweet referencing Darude's 'Sandstorm' has caused shares of Sandstorm Gold, a small canadian company, to rise up 55% in pre market trading. With 45 million twitter followers it's not too surprising to see Elon Musk's huge influence on the stock market.

Sandstorm Gold is a $1.3 billion mine gold royalty company and after Elon's tweet the shares of Sandstorm Gold rose to $10.06USD.

Knowing the banger ourselves, we're pretty sure Elon Musk was actually referring to Darude's 'Sandstorm' which is an absolute tune. Darude even replied pretty humbly being unsure if Elon's tweet was in reference to his hit song.

This isn't the first time people have taken Elon's tweets as bible, just last month he caused the company 'Signal Advance' to soar 11,708% when he tweeted "use signal". Twitter users were mistaken in investing into Signal Advance when really Elon Musk was referencing a messaging app.

Elon Musk is a bit of a fiend for twitter lately, and it just goes to show that when you're the world's richest man, you can spend your day tweeting about whatever you want.
