Kiwi mum names her three kids Metallica, Slayer and Pantera

The best part? Metallica's middle name ( or should we say names) is 'And justice for all' after the band's 1988 album.

Honestly, just when you think you've heard it all, some battler from NZ always comes along to prove you wrong.

A kiwi mum has provided the goods by naming her three kids Metallica, Slayer and Pantera.

David Farrier uncovered the news saying "Proud to report that a New Zealand mother has named her children Metallica, Pantera and Slayer".

"She told me, 'It's not easy raising three of the heaviest bands.'" He wrote on Twitter.

"I reached out to the Registrar-General himself, asking if there are any restrictions naming babies after band names, or albums," he continued.

But turns out if you're a big enough metal fan, and not being offensive, the world's your oyster "There are no restrictions on naming babies after bands or albums, as long as the word used is not generally considered to be offensive or does not resemble an official rank or title."
