Thursday19 June

Family Works biggest collection even for winter is back again and The Breeze Dunedin and More FM Dunedin is proud to be supporting it!

Kai For Octacan returns to the Lower Octacan on Thursday June 19th from 7:30am through to 2pm.

This year’s event falls on the shortest day, leading up to Matariki public holiday which is a day of reflection, celebration, harvest and future planning!

This year there are multiple ways to play your part for this fantastic local cause:

COLLECT

Collect your cans and bring them down on Thursday June 19th. This can be school, workplaces, families or just yourself! Organise them into your chosen design, whether it’s a logo, emblem or even a Matariki Star.

DONATE

Donations of all sorts are also accepted outside of Cans. Donations can be made online at Octacan’s Website. You can also bring vouchers to supermarkets or cash instead, which allows for Presbyterian Support to purchase exactly what’s needed at any given time.

SPREAD THE WORD

Letting your workplace, family or friends know will always play a part in helping this year’s collection. Whether it’s on social media, through your school or talking about it with family.
