WATCH: Six60 perform new album track 'Endlessly' on top of Auckland's Sky Tower

A group of six adult male band members perform on a tall illuminated tower platform at night. Three members in the foreground play guitars, wear sunglasses and safety harnesses, with city lights in the background.

Six60 have taken their titles as top NZ performers a little too literally, performing on top of Auckland’s Sky Tower.

The band played a beautiful version of one of their latest tracks ‘Endlessly’ from their ‘Right Here Right Now’ album.

“This album has already taken us to some wild places - still can’t believe we actually did this,” the group wrote on Instagram, alongside a video of the performance.

If you’ve ever been up the Sky Tower, you’d be all too familiar with the overwhelming spin tingles that make your heart drop just knowing how high up you are.

Now double that feeling for the band who were strapped even higher up outside!! I feel woozy just thinking about it…

I’m sure it was all worth it though, for just how incredible of an album release it was.

Lit up in the band’s signature blue at the tip, and projecting their ‘Right Here Right Now’ album cover, the lads truly took over the city.

The Sky Tower has had some incredible displays in the past, but for Six60 to have their own faces plastered up NZ’s largest building is a pretty unreal feat.

Our very own rova reporter, Monika Barton, spoke with and members Matiu Walters and Chris Mac late last year as they released the first single, ‘We Made It’, from the album.

They have a big year ahead and shared their excitement for what’s to come including the first ever Jim Beam Homegrown festival at its new/old location in the Mighty Waikato.

They told rova they were absolutely fizzing for March 14th to roll around - not just to take the stage at the festival's new home at Claudelands Arena in Hamilton, but to hang with all the Kiwi musos they "know quite well but never get to see".

Plus, Six60 will be joining Synthony to headline the first ever live concert, ‘Once In A Lifetime’ at Christchurch’s brand spanking new One New Zealand stadium.

Saturday 16 May 2026 is going to be a HUGE day for Cantabrians and while tickets are SOLD OUT, tune in for your last chance to win here on rova!

With a new album and multiple great gigs to come Six60 are showing no sign of taking it easy this year.

‘Right Here Right Now’ dropped at midnight, so take a hot guess at what I’ll be listening to all day!
