• How do I earn entries?

  Go to your dashboard and check out the different challenges. If a challenge is grey, it means it’s not started. If it has a ‘ring’, it means you’ve started the challenge and you’re on your way to earning entries. If the challenge is solid, you’ve completed it and you will be awarded entries. Binge challenges are a bit different - they are endless and have no limit to the entries you can earn.

  Important: Only activity on rova.nz (the website) and the rova app will earn entries. Listening via CarPlay, Android Auto, Sonos, Alexa, Chromecast, Airplay or any other platform will not earn entries

• What is a ‘Binge’ challenge and how does it work?

  Binge challenges are indicated by purple badges and reward you with entries for listening, watching or reading content. These challenges are endless, and there is no limit to the number of entries you can earn. The more content you consume, the more entries you get, and you are awarded entries as you go (you don’t have to close a circle).

• What is an ‘Explore’ Challenge and how does it work?

  Explore challenges are indicated by green badges and reward you with entries for completing different activities. Once you close the ring and complete the challenge, you’ll be awarded the entries.

• What is a ‘Streak’ Challenge and how does it work?

  Streak challenges are indicated by yellow badges and reward you with entries for completing activities on consecutive days. If you miss a day, you’ll break the streak, the counter will reset to zero, and you’ll have to start again. Once you close the ring and complete the challenge, you’ll be awarded the entries.

• I’ve started the challenge late, do I still have a chance?

  Yes! Even with one entry, you still have a chance to win.

• I’ve started a challenge but my entries aren't showing?

  ‘Explore’ and ‘Streak’ challenges only award entries once you have finished the task. For example, if the challenge requires you to listen to four podcasts, and you have listened to two podcasts, you won’t receive the entries until you have listened to the fourth podcast.

• I’ve definitely completed challenges but I still don’t see the points?

  This could relate to one of a few different issues:

  • Some challenges do not award entries until you have completed multiple tasks. Check the type of challenge for more details.

  • Challenge timing is based on New Zealand Standard Time.

  • In some cases entries can take up to 24 hours to show.

• Are there any Terms and Conditions?

  This competition is only available to New Zealand residents and is subject to the specific competition T&Cs here.

• When does the competition start and end?

  This competition starts on June 3, 2025 at 6:00am and ends on 11:59pm July 11, 2025

• Can I use multiple devices?

  Yes, but only activity from one device at a time will be counted.

• What time zone is the competition based on?

  All timing is based on NZST or NZDT / whichever is relevant.

• When will I find out if I have won the challenge?

  The winner will be announced on 15 July 2025 and will be contacted by rova.

• Can I enter the competition if I don’t have a rova account?

  No. You must have a rova account and you must be signed in.
