Plate Up for a Purpose

Since 2019, Bayleys has supported the Christchurch City Mission’s Back to School programme — helping tamariki across Canterbury head to school equipped and confident.

With your support, we’ve raised an incredible $675,700 so far, providing:

• 1,498 uniforms

• 907 stationery packs

• 1,315 pairs of shoes

• 1,125 families supported

September is the month of meals that matter - every dollar raised goes directly to the Christchurch City Mission, helping to ensure more children start their school year with the essentials they need.

There are over 50 incredible venues across Canterbury participating in Bayleys Plate Up for a Purpose — a huge jump from 27 in 2023 and 43 in 2024!

From Akaroa to Rangiora, including those well-known Central City favourites and all the way to Rolleston and out to Ashburton.

Getting involved is easy:

3. Dine in and order the Plate Up feature dish (or at some venues, a portion of every main or lunch goes to the cause).
