The Rock is now live in Australia, a first for New Zealand radio

The Rock is officially broadcasting in Australia, becoming the first New Zealand radio station ever to go live across the ditch.

We won’t lie, we’re pretty stoked about this.

This isn't some watered-down Aussie version either. This is The Rock. The one and only. New Zealand's number one rock station, now blasting out to our neighbours who have apparently been asking for it for years.

To kick things off, Aussies are getting 10,000 back to back bangers with no ads while we build towards the full launch on 31 August. 

Then the training wheels come off.

From 31 August, Australia gets the full package, including The Morning Rumble, Rock Drive with Jay & Dunc, and it also happens to be day one of the world famous Rock 2000 Countdown.
