Taylor Swift has announced a six-part documentary series and a new concert film.

Less than two weeks after the release of her 12th studio album, 'The Life of a Showgirl', the music megastar has announced plans to release two new projects later this year.

The six-part docuseries, titled 'The End of an Era', will give fans exclusive behind-the-scenes access to Taylor's record-breaking Eras Tour, which comprised 149 performances in 51 cities over 21 months.

The trailer features exclusive moments behind her incredibly successful 'Eras Tour' - from sweet moments with her now-fiancé Travis Kelce to her relaxing post-concert routine which includes room service and running a bath.

According to a press release, the series will also showcase the involvement of various performers, family members, and friends, including cameos from Sabrina Carpenter, Gracie Abrams, Ed Sheeran, and Florence Welch.

The first two episodes of the docuseries are scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on December 12. Two new episodes will be released each week.

Also on December 12, Taylor will release 'Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show', a live recording of her final performance on 'The Eras Tour', which took place on 8 December 2024 in Vancouver, Canada.

The concert film is set to feature performances of songs from her 2024 album 'The Tortured Poets Department'. This era was not included in her first concert film for the Eras Tour, released in October 2023, as the album had not yet been released at the time.

These announcements were made on 'Good Morning America' on Monday, shortly after the release of her latest album and 'Party of a Showgirl'. The latter was shown in select cinemas and featured behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the record and a music video for her song 'The Fate of Ophelia'.

On the day of its release, 'The Life of a Showgirl' became the most-streamed album on Spotify in a single day this year.
