Royal Blood are back to tear your speakers apart, announcing their long-awaited fifth studio album, Dead Company, alongside a filthy new single titled 'Ten Over Ten'.
After putting the tools down and stepping out of the spotlight for a couple of years, Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher got back into the studio in 2025 with zero distractions and a dead-simple goal: see what kind of noise two blokes can make with 12 notes and infinite outcomes.
The first taste of the record, 'Ten Over Ten', is a menancing mash-up of desert rock and Motörhead-style heavy riffage.
Believe it or not, the vibe was actually inspired by frontman Mike Kerr training for a marathon. Running 42km voluntarily sounds bloody cooked to us, but if it helps them produce choons this heavy - we'll allow it.
Self-produced by the band, Dead Company is a raw, 10-track album stripped right back to its core, built specifically for the live stage.
"After putting the Royal Blood engine in neutral for a couple of years, we've been building up the revs and are playing faster and harder than ever with this album," the band said. "Written and recorded with the stage in mind, we cannot wait to play it live for years to come."
It's hard to believe it's been 12 years since the UK legends first burst onto the scene, going on to land four consecutive Number One albums in the UK and shifting over a million records along the way.
Dead Company drops on 13th November.
