Miley Cyrus casually strolled onto a red carpet wearing an engagement ring the size of a small planet. No caption, no press release, not even a cheeky Instagram story. Just Miley… and one very shiny announcement on her left hand. 

Nothing like her old friends, Taylor Swift, who almost broke the internet when she announced her engagement online, or the emotional post by Selena Gomez, who also took to social media to announce her engagement and make half the world stop for a few minutes. Miley just.. Miley’d!

The ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer was attending the ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ premiere in LA, dressed in sequinned Gucci. But while her gown sparkled, it was nothing compared to that big old rock under those flashing lights. 

Fans online immediately lost their minds, zooming into every photo like FBI analysts.

The ring in question? A 14K yellow-gold cushion-cut Jacquie Aiche piece with a diamond estimated at roughly 4 carats. 

Das a lot of money, guys! 

Neither Miley nor her musician boyfriend, drummer for alternative rock band ‘Lilly’, Maxx Morando, has uttered a single word about the engagement, which, of course, only sent speculation into overdrive.

The couple have been together for four years after reportedly being matched on a blind date back in 2021, and despite countless red-carpet appearances, they’ve kept their relationship surprisingly private by ‘Hollywood’s’ standards.

Miley ended her marriage to Liam Hemsworth in early 2020, and Morando has brought her a kind of joy she had to learn to accept. 

“There was too much conflict,” she said. “When I come home, I want to be anchored by someone. I don’t get off on drama or fighting,” she told Grazia Magazine

So what’s happening now? Well, it looks like Miley is heading toward marriage again, but this time, on her own terms and in her own perfectly unpredictable Miley way.
