The drama playing out on 'Married At First Sight Australia' isn’t just staying on TV - it’s having some very real-life consequences when it comes to some brides’ jobs…

Three of this year’s participants have reportedly seen their careers take a hit after their fiery on-screen moments.

Bec Zacharia is the latest, said to have been “recently fired” from her sales role at a manufacturing company in Adelaide.

“They just told her that they couldn’t have her there. They didn’t want her to work there any longer, and it was due to what was happening on MAFS and her behaviour,” a source told Woman’s Day.

Things reportedly took a “sudden” turn after the third dinner party aired, which saw Bec dig a little too deep into the other participants’ relationships.

“She agrees her behaviour was poor, but she had told them prior to the show airing about what was going to happen,” the source added.

Meanwhile, Gia Fleur is reportedly no longer working as a disability support worker and is eyeing up a switch to OnlyFans…

Her potential career on the app - known for selling X-rated content - is allegedly to “profit off the hate” she’s been receiving, according to Joshua Fox - the man behind the popular MAFS Funny page.

Which is a pretty shocking twist, if true. Earlier in the season, Gia said she didn’t want to be compared to her on-screen hubby’s ex, adding: “I don’t think you can compare, because I would never start an OnlyFans and put that out there for $8.”

But according to an interview with Josh, Gia had mentioned wanting to start an OnlyFans multiple times while they were in contact during filming.

They aren’t the only brides feeling the impact. 'MAFS AU' fans have also noticed that 2026 participant Brooke Crompton’s modelling work may have taken a hit.

People took to Reddit to speculate whether her deal with luxury boutique Calexico had come to an end.

Pictures of Brooke have reportedly been removed from the brand’s website and socials, and she has also deleted posts promoting the label. Yikes.

I guess it’s another reminder that what happens on reality TV definitely does NOT stay there… 👀
