Jack Osbourne thanks Yungblud for keeping Ozzy's 'legacy alive' on tour

The young rocker's cover of 'Changes' has become a staple in his shows.

While the world continues to grieve the loss of Ozzy Osbourne, it seems the torch has truly been passed to the next generation.

Ozzy's son Jack went along to the first stop of Yungblud’s North American tour where he watched the 28-year-old pay tribute to his father by performing his cover of ‘Changes’.

Jack shared a selfie with Yungblud on Instagram along with a clip of Yungblud’s cover, where the crowd is going absolutely berserk.

Jack captioned it: “Went to @yungblud's first stop on his North American Tour last night. Thanks for keeping the legacy alive ✌️”

The comments were nothing short of emotional:

“Doing exactly what Ozzy told him to do next: Conquer America. Love to see it,” said one fan.

“A beautiful voice singing a beautiful song. Ozzy lives on forever through music,” said another.

Yungblud has been very open about his friendship with Ozzy Osbourne, which began in 2022, when Ozzy made a cameo in Yungblud’s music video for ‘The Funeral’.

The two hit it off, stayed in touch, and built a friendship, so much so that Yungblud got the call-up to perform at the Back to the Beginning gig in July.

He delivered an incredible cover of Ozzy’s ‘Changes’, which really blew up online. He then released the cover officially.

Social media footage also showed Yungblud gifting Ozzy a cross necklace handmade by his friend, thanking Ozzy for giving him “a fucking outlet".

Everyone thought I was too fucking mad, and I was like, nah man, I’m like Ozzy.”

In the clip, Ozzy encouraged Yungblud to "conquer America", and as fans are pointing out, it seems like he's doing just that.
