The first single, ‘Aperture’, is finally being added to every playlist, and it’s caused a huge shock to what a lot of Stylers were manifesting.

A lucky group of Sydney-based fans got an early listen earlier this week (yes, I'm still recovering from the jealousy), teasing the sound with spoiler-free a cappella snippets that only hyped things up more.

While plenty of us were bracing for full disco-funk, ‘Aperture’ leans way more synthpop, and honestly, we’re not mad about it.

TikTok user, Lena, compared the track to the opening of Robyn’s 2018 hit ‘Dancing On My Own’, mixed with Donna Summer energy and as it were produced by electronic Queen Charli XCX.

Picturing Harry Styles entering his own Brat Summer is genuinely all we need to survive the rest of 2026 - and this is just track one.

Lena added: “The way I feel about it is very much like ‘As It Was’. I feel like it’s going to become a massive hit. It is that good. I really enjoy it.”

Another TikToker, Anna, described the song as having a techno-house vibe, saying: “I’m obsessed. It’s like nothing I’ve ever heard before, from anyone really.”

Now that the rest of the world has had a chance to press play, Stylers are collectively losing their minds!
