Harry Styles has been presented with a Guinness World Record after wrapping up his history-making residency at London's Wembley Stadium.

The As It Was singer made music history when he took to the stage at London's largest music venue on Saturday night for the record-breaking 12th show of his Together, Together tour.

He has now been officially recognised with a Guinness World Record for the longest residency by a musician at Wembley Stadium during a single run.

The British singer and his tour crew posed for a photo on the Wembley stage with Guinness World Records Adjudicator, Will Munford, and their official certificate. Harry and his team also gave every single member of the crew their own certificate to celebrate their contribution to the record-breaking run.

"Record-breaking moments are rarely achieved alone, and this is a true example of what we mean when we say everyone can be part of it," Munford said, reports PA. "We're delighted to officially recognise this achievement and celebrate another major title for Harry."

During the final show itself, Harry's sister Gemma Styles made a surprise appearance on stage to congratulate her brother on his achievement.

The former One Direction star initially announced a six-night residency at the venue, but subsequently added six more due to popular demand. As a result, he overtook Taylor Swift's eight Eras Tour shows and Coldplay's 10 Music of the Spheres gigs.

Harry kicked off the Together, Together tour in Amsterdam in May, where he played 10 dates, before bringing the show to Wembley Stadium - which can hold up to 90,000 attendees per night - on 12 June.

He is next set to perform four shows in Brazil, six concerts in Mexico, and then a whopping 30 dates at Madison Square Garden in New York. The trek will wrap up in Melbourne and Sydney in Australia in December.

The Together, Together tour is in support of his fourth studio album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.
