Dust off your gear, Auckland. After seven long years of waiting, international supercross is finally roaring back to New Zealand.
On October 31st (the best day of the year, and not just because it’s my birthday…), North Harbour Stadium is being completely transformed into a high-octane dirt paradise for the AUSX Supercross Championship.

We haven’t seen anything like this since the FIM Oceania Championship blew the roof off Mt Smart back in 2019 - trust us, this is going to be well worth the wait.
The biggest news for us patriots is that 18-year-old Kiwi phenom Cole Davies is officially locked in for the race.
Fresh off conquering America and bagging the AMA Supercross 250SX East Championship, Davies is heading back to where it all began… literally - he grew up just minutes from the North Harbour stadium.
“Coming home to race in front of Kiwi fans, my friends and family at North Harbour Stadium is going to be one of the most special moments of my career," Davies said in a press release.

"The atmosphere is going to be unreal, and I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone back home."
He’ll be going bar-to-bar against some of the absolute best riders on the planet.
They truly aren’t doing this by halves - crews are hauling in a massive 600 tonnes of dirt to turn the stadium into a brutal and technical track.
And it’s not even just the racing - it’s “a full-scale live entertainment experience”.
Even Mayor Wayne Brown is hyped, calling it the exact type of "high-energy spectacle" Auckland needs to boost the local economy and fill out the bars and hotels. (Translation: expect the city to be absolutely buzzing).
This is part of a multi-round trans-Tasman series, and Auckland is the place to be.
Tickets go on sale Thursday, 25th June.
