Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin gave the crowd a heads up BEFORE that Astronomer CEO cheating scandal was caught on camera and took over the internet.
It’s all anyone could talk about over the weekend, and it’s still making headlines - now, because it's clear that Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot had ample time to get their mitts off each other before their affair went viral.
As it turns out, frontman Chris Martin always tells the audience before the band fires up the big screen to "say hello to some of you in the crowd" - and he did just that on the night in question.

“What we’d like to do is say hello to some of you, and the way we're going to do that is using our cameras,” he said in a video captured by a fan.
“So if you look at the screens, we’re gonna come looking to see who’s out there to say hello to.”
Now, at this point, if you’re having an affair (which we do NOT condone) - wouldn’t you maybe… separate for a few minutes? Apparently, this wasn't even a passing thought for these two.
Coldplay often spot loved-up couples in the crowd to sing to via the big screen, so it’s no surprise those two were picked.
I mean, even a photo from the very front of the stage picked up the PDA happening up on that balcony in the distance.
Since the viral scandal, Chris has been a little more careful about who makes it onto the screen.
“Are you two a legitimate couple?” he asked another pair caught in an embrace at the same show.
“Okay, I’m just going to risk it,” he laughed, before serenading them and asking them to kiss.
Safe to say, Chris might be second-guessing every couple he spots for the foreseeable future.
