Usually, a kiss cam is romantic, but this time it was disastrous.
Andy Byron, CEO of AI and Data company Astronomer, was exposed seemingly having an affair with his Chief People Officer, Kristin Cabot, on the kiss cam during Coldplay’s Boston Concert.
Do you think she’ll be leading the ‘inappropriate workplace conduct’ meeting on this one?
When the two appeared on the big screen in a romantic embrace with their fingers intertwined, their faces immediately turned to expressions of shock and horror. They both quickly ducked out of frame.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, trying to handle the situation accordingly, said, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy”.
He then awkwardly follows with, “I’m not sure what to do”.
Fair enough, Chris, I don’t think anyone did.

The internet is full of unofficial detectives, so once this video was released, people did their digging.
Not only did they find their identities, but also their spouses and their histories.
Oh, and their LinkedIn profiles.
According to The New York Post, Byron hired Cabot in November of last year and gushed about her 20 years of HR experience and “exceptional leadership” skills.
Cabot said that her conversations with Byron had “energised her”.
Those statements didn’t age well…
Allegedly, Byron is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, and they have two kids together.
Queen Megan isn’t standing for this, having already dropped the ‘Byron’ from her Facebook username.
Cabot was allegedly recently divorced from Kenneth Thornby, which was finalised in 2022. The pair have a child together.
Not only did this go viral on all social media platforms, but even LinkedIn caught wind, and people left comments on Byron’s now-deleted account.
Some people decided to question him with “Why did you cheat on your wife, Andy?” and “How was Coldplay with Kristin?”
My personal favourite is “Lights did not guide Andy home”.
Of course, Reddit also caught wind and had some hilarious commenters.
“Play 'Fix Me' at their relationship's funeral,” said one commenter.
“I have an interview with this company next week,” said one user. Another replied to this comment with, “Wear your Coldplay shirt.”
Someone else kept it quite real: “These two are royally f*cked.”
Talk about trouble in Paradise! (Ha, get it?)
