A new ice cream flavour has been spilled and it's breakfast bowl nostalgia

Move over goodie gumdrops, there's a new childhood fave here.

Let’s admit it right here, right now - there was no better taste than slurping up the leftover milk from your cornflakes, doused in sugar, before school.

So, what if I told you that you don’t need to pour out a whole bowl just to drink the last drop of goodness - because Much Moore Ice Cream has come through with a new addition that answers all our nostalgic prayers.

Teasing a new flavour "coming soon” on their Instagram last night, the ice cream brand best known for those Awesome Gumdrops tubs is hitting us right in the childhood feels again.

While they haven’t officially announced it yet, two-litre tubs of Awesome Cereal Milk ice cream have already started popping up in stores.

New World St Martins in Christchurch shared their weekly newbies hitting shelves, showing off a tub of the stuff last week.

Pak ‘n Save also has the product listed online, but no available stores are showing current stock.

This isn't the first time a sweet treat’s hit shelves before its big reveal - just last week we spotted Whittaker’s new Banana Caramel blocks in the wild, hours before they had made it official.

Some Kiwi sleuth spotted the block at a local Wellington shop and shared the packaging on Reddit the day before Whittaker's announced it themselves.

Now, not sure about you, but I’m seriously considering blending both of these new sweet treats into one ultimate milkshake. Surely I'm onto something here?
