33 Below, Pirapus, Rova & more: Unreal Kiwi collabs taking over the dance scene

Kiwi’s doing big things on the world stage.

The last few weeks have been STACKED with some massive Kiwi link-ups in the dance music scene - and today is no different.

Absolute legend of a producer, 33 Below, has teamed up with RL Grime for a new collab.

And while we’re blasting it over here at George, I thought we might as well have a look at the five heavy-hitting joint projects that have recently been released and deserve some love.

Here’s the latest Kiwi link-ups that deserve a spin (or few):

33 Below x RL Grime - LOOK4MYLOVE

33 Below is one to watch right now, with official remixes for Odd Mob and Martin Garrix already under his belt. He’s also set to release his highly anticipated collab with Sammy Virji, ‘Dub It In’, next month.

Released today, ‘LOOK4MYLOVE’ is a major link-up, and it’s not the first time RL Grime has shown love for Kiwi artists. Back in 2020, he teamed up with Montell2099 on ‘RUSYNTH’.

Alison Wonderland x QUIX - PSYCHO

Another major collab dropped today between Alison Wonderland and QUIX called ‘PSYCHO.’ The two have quickly become close mates over the years, and this track follows up on their previous 2019 project ‘Time’.

Pirapus x Sota - No Surrender (No Retreat)

Earlier this month, Pirapus joined forces with Sota for ‘No Surrender (No Retreat)’. It’s quickly become one of the most played tracks across the European summer festival season - this one is HUGE!

Pirapus are quickly gaining momentum right now after recent collaborations with Primate and REAPER - they take things to the next level.

Rova x Grafix - Let Me Down

Wellington producer, Rova has been on a whirlwind since the success of ‘Eyes on Me’. Now he’s teamed up with Grafix for ‘Let Me Down’, combining both of their signature sounds in a mean blend.

A.M.C x SUUNE - Gas

One of the more unlikely pairings, the ‘Best DJ’ in drum and bass, A.M.C, linked up with the DJ/producer lads from little ol’ Timaru.

SUUNE got to link up with A.M.C on his last visit to NZ, and even jumped up to play it live at this year’s Mayhem gig.

Killer Hertz x Mollie Collins x Elipsa - Love On Me

Kiwi vocalist, Elipsa teamed up with massive producers, Killer Hertz on a large track called, 'Love On Me.' Elipsa jumped up to perform the song live at Beats For Love festival in the Czech Republic.

Definitely a good few to be adding to the playlist - I already have.
