Sammy Virji announces stacked album tracklist including a Kiwi collab

Fizzing for this.

It’s undeniable that Sammy Virji is currently on a generational run in dance music.

The English DJ and producer just revealed the tracklist for his debut album, ‘Same Day Cleaning’, and after seeing this, we couldn’t be more gassed for the full release!

The tracklist features already released tracks, ‘Cops & Robbers’ with Skepta, ‘Nostalgia’ with Issey Cross, and ‘Dis Badman’ with Champion & Irah.

It also includes highly anticipated collabs from his now infamous DJ Mag mix with Flowdan, Salute, MJ Cole, and even Kiwi producer 33 Below.

Sammy also recently revealed that his track with Chris Lake, ‘925’ is set to be released on August 22.

In a post on Instagram, he wrote: “I still need to pinch myself at the features on here, such an honour working with everyone on this and feeling excited and nervous to share these tunes!”

We’re most excited to see his collab with Kiwi producer 33 Below on the tracklist. This has been a long-awaited dub we’ve heard in many of Sammy’s sets.

33 Below reacted to the reveal, commenting: “The wait is overrr.”

The track is officially called ‘Dub It In’ and has been doing the rounds in viral TikTok videos for well over a year now. The viral clip from Sammy’s now-infamous DJ Mag set in particular caught a lot of attention.

33 Below even played the dub during a mix on George FM Drive.

Recently, it was revealed how Sammy’s iconic producer tag, “it’s Virji, isn’t it?” came to be.

DJ and producer Shapes blew all of our minds in a chat with George Breakfast, revealing he is actually the voice behind the tag.

At the time, he said: “It’s at the point where more people know me for being the 'Virji, isn’t it?' guy.”

The album ‘Same Day Cleaning’ drops on September 19.
