But there’s plenty more happening across Cup Day, with The Kirin Hyoketsu Infield returning to Addington Raceway for its second year. Following more than 3,000 attendees at its debut, the Infield is back bigger than ever, combining a full day of music and entertainment with the excitement of NZ Trotting Cup Day.

MUSIC, RACING & MORE

Headlining the Infield entertainment is Kiwi drum & bass duo Lee Mvtthews, who will take to the stage after the races. The duo have racked up more than 75 million global streams and are known for their high-energy performances across New Zealand and internationally.

Also returning by popular demand is Savage, bringing his iconic Kiwi hip hop sound back to the Infield following his performance at last year’s event.

The 2026 Infield experience has also been upgraded, with more seating, more shade and a brand-new VIP experience, including food and drinks throughout the races, a mini grandstand for race viewing, lounge seating and a reserved space in front of the stage.
