About the National Music Centre
Opening in February 2027, the National Music Centre is a landmark collaboration between Victoria University of Wellington’s New Zealand School of Music Te Kōkī, New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, and Wellington City Council.
Anchored by the refurbished Te Whare Whakarauika | Wellington Town Hall, it will be a world-class centre for music education and performance in the heart of Wellington.
