Red Cross Giving Day

Three smiling individuals are featured in the foreground, with large yellow text reading 'RED CROSS GIVING DAY' above them, and Mai FM and New Zealand Red Cross logos against a dark, blurry background of people.

Mai are teaming up with New Zealand Red Cross to help drive awareness of the Red Cross Giving Day and we’re calling on the whole whānau to help us make some serious noise.

This year’s mission is all about one vital truth: if you can’t communicate, you can’t coordinate—and if you can’t coordinate, you can’t help.

When disasters hit our Pacific neighbors, staying connected is the difference between chaos and getting help where it needs to go.

Giving day is a 24-hour hustle to raise $250,000 to fund "IT in a Box" kit for Pacific countries, ensuring they have the tech to stay online and in touch when it matters most.

The clock starts ticking at 8:30am on Thursday, 11 June, and we aren’t stopping until 8:30am on Friday, 12 June.
