This Sunday, you can win a 50th anniversary copy of the album that was certified gold before it's release. Topping the Kiwi charts in 1975, Elton John's autobiographical L/P 'Capt. Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy' tells the tales of Capt. Fantastic (Elton) and the Brown Dirt Cowboy (Bernie Taupin).

The album features "Someone Saved My Life Tonight", a song Elton has said refers to his old friend Long John Daldry literally saving Elton from taking his own life.

Elton said of the album "I've always thought that Captain Fantastic was probably my finest album because it wasn't commercial in any way. We did have songs such as 'Someone Saved My Life Tonight,' which is one of the best songs that Bernie and I have ever written together. Captain Fantastic was written from start to finish in running order, as a kind of story about coming to terms with failure—or trying desperately not to be one. We lived that story."

Tracey will host a radio special, delving into the dark times that proceeded the release of an album Elton and Bernie still rate as one of their best. You'll hear from them both plus Tracey will giveaway three copies of the special 50th anniversary edition of Capt. Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy. so listen in this Sunday for a special treat, only on the Sound
