After a 20+ year campaign, Motueka is finally getting an Aquatic Centre for the wider Tasman region. Tasman District Council is funding $15.6m and The Tasman Community is 'pooling' together to raise the remaining $4.4m required for the build.
On Sunday 2 November, 8 plucky Paul's, Paula's and Paolo's from around the region will be diving out of a plane in aid of this great cause and The Breeze is looking for the final two Paul's to make waves!
The skydive comes courtesy Skydive Abel Tasman, all we need is for you to nominate a Paul, Paula or Paolo in your life to dive in – or, rather, out of a plane!
Just text 'POOL' followed by their name and details to 934 to get them in the draw.
Did you know, Motueka is the largest town in the South Island not to have a heated, indoor pool facility. Well, not for much longer - building is due to start in 2027 with completion in 2029. The Tasman District Council considers this one of its highest priority capital builds right now, we know it’s needed, so water you waiting for?!
Let's 'POOL' together and get this project up and running. Click HERE to donate.
