Lana has been handed the ultimate UK travel assignment: keep Simon out of trouble.

The Breakfast Club is only a couple of weeks away from heading to the UK, thanks to House of Travel, and Simon is already giving Lana plenty to think about.

“I can only do so much from New Zealand, Lana,” Delwyn from House of Travel apparently told her. “The rest is on you to make sure that you and your son come back okay.”

Fair call, really. Simon has been warned not to get too friendly with the Royal Palace Guard horses after Lana showed him videos of tourists learning that lesson the hard way.

“I can’t wait to see how this all unfolds,” Lana said, while Simon reckoned he might be in for the same treatment if he ignores the rules.

The pair will be sharing the whole adventure on the More FM Breakfast Club Instagram and Facebook, from their travel day onwards. There’ll be messages back and forth with listeners too, so it feels like the More FM family is along for the ride.

Their itinerary is a proper bit of fun: Clarkson’s Farm, Diddly Squat, a West Ham match, Camden Markets, an O2 Arena walk with bubbles, Humble Crumble and even a Jack the Ripper tour.

They’re also taking 100 blocks of Whittaker’s chocolate to share with homesick Kiwis in the UK. What good sorts.
