Lana has put a very dark London outing on the travel list, and Si’s first answer was an immediate “No.”

The Breakfast Club were chatting through possible London experiences when Lana suggested the Jack the Ripper Tour. Si was not having it, questioning why anyone would want to spend an evening following the trail of such a notorious criminal.

He was much more open to Lana’s other idea, the Amy Winehouse Pub Tour, and reckoned she should be just as willing to join him for some friendlier activities, including petting a horse. There was just one tiny snag: Si worried that getting too close to a horse could land them in trouble, while Lana pointed out the rather odd logic of avoiding a history tour but not an animal encounter.

Then caller Jo changed the tone completely. She told the team her daughter chose the Jack the Ripper Tour during a family trip to the UK, and despite everyone expecting it to be dull, “it was amazing. It was the highlight of our trip.”

Jo said their guide was funny, knew the history inside out, and made the nighttime tour incredibly interesting rather than overly scary.
