We’re recovering from the Pie Awards and honestly, things have spiralled. Between Yas eating room-temperature pies that sat out all night, her broken fridge leaking everywhere, and a dirty spoon situation, we're a complete mess. Plus, the boss Jack drops by to pitch us on the wild world of pigeon racing. You are truly not ready for this one!
We showed up post-Pie Awards feeling the full aftermath, and the pie chat immediately devolved into utter chaos. Harrison casually revealed he ate two leftover pies—a mutton cheese and a steak and cheese—that spent the entire night sitting out in his room. To make matters worse, the show’s fridge is officially broken and leaking, prompting a very questionable discussion about keeping champagne fresh with a dirty spoon.
Just when we thought the morning couldn't get any weirder, Jack from The Rock joined us to unveil his new side hustle: a pigeon racing syndicate. After his uncle randomly offered him a bird for 400 bucks, he roped in colleagues to buy into "Crosswind Colin". Despite some initial skepticism, we found ourselves learning the ins and outs of homing pigeons and how 115 birds get trucked down south just to race home.
Between greyhound adoption, blind dogs running into fences, and racing pigeons, we ended up coming full circle on the whole thing. As Jack put it best: adopt a greyhound, race a pigeon.
