We are completely spiralling over our boss Jack’s living situation right now because his rabbit, Biscuit, somehow has her own bedroom. Not a hutch, a whole spare room complete with its own heat pump, custom carpet discussions, and a strict no-guest policy after a dramatic dropping incident. Plus, we are diving deep into the true meaning of being a total "hungus"—from making desperate public eye contact with restaurant waiters to stealing leftover chips from abandoned tables. You are not ready for Harrison's childhood stories about walking a giant city lamb on a leash either. We’re The Ash London Show, a NZ music radio show on The Edge from 3–7pm weekdays! This is our pre-show podcast, where we get a little bit cheeky ;) See more from The Ash London Show at @theashlondonshow and @theedgenz Find your next favourite show and see more behind-the-scenes content on rova’s Instagram @rova.nz Hosts: Ash London, Harrison Keefe, & Yas Coe Executive Producer: Samantha Harding Producer: Nepia Ruwhiu
It was absolute chaos walking into the studio today, mostly because Harrison decided to expose our boss Jack Honeybone for having the most spoiled pet in Aotearoa. Apparently, his massive rabbit Biscuit doesn't just roam the house; she has her own dedicated spare bedroom. We are talking about its own heat pump, elite carpet selections, and a strict lockdown protocol because if anyone opens the door, Biscuit might make a run for it.
To make matters worse, the office is still reeling from a recent incident where Lily had a few drinks, snuck into Biscuit's quarters, and accidentally dropped the precious bunny in the lounge. Harrison and Ash agree that while treating dogs like babies is standard practice, giving a full HVAC system to a rodent-adjacent creature might be pushing it. Though Harrison can't judge too much, considering he used to walk a loud farm lamb named Roxy around a city block on a leash.
The team also unpacked the ultimate Kiwi lifestyle affliction: being an absolute hungus. Ash and Harrison confessed to their most shameful public food cravings, like the sheer embarrassment of pulling on a locked high-tech vending machine because you can't wait two seconds for the card to scan. From breathing down a waiter's neck at a restaurant to eyeing up untouched chips on a stranger’s abandoned plate, the hunger levels are officially out of control.
Finally, things took a sweet turn as Ash celebrated Buddy's incredible ability to roll his Rs while learning Te Reo at kindy. This sparked a whole chat about why every broadcaster in Aotearoa should be required to take classes and give the language a proper crack. We wrap up with Producer Sam getting some major love on Instagram from the listeners after debuting her chic new haircut, proving this show is officially a team of hotties.
