Yas is spiraling because she woke up four hours late today and her eyes currently look like "two *******" according to the team... We recap Harrison’s absolutely terrifying interview with the Scary Movie 6 cast where he got shut down by the Wayans brothers and Anna Faris—it’s the most awkward silence you’ll ever hear. Plus, we accidentally repeat yesterday's show and dive into some stunning Te Reo Māori music that nearly made Ash believe in God again.
Harrison’s Interview Nightmare
Harrison finally got his big moment interviewing Anna Faris, Marlon Wayans, and Shawn Wayans for Scary Movie 6, but it didn’t exactly go to plan. After being two hours late to the Zoom (classic Harrison), he tried to pitch his own parody ideas to the legendary comedy trio. Let's just say the Wayans brothers weren't exactly vibe-ing with his "Mickey 17" sexual parody idea, leaving Harrison in a pit of deadpan, sarcastic despair.
The Eye Situation & The Big Snooze
The show started with a bit of a medical mystery—or maybe just a massive sleep deficit. Ash was convinced Harrison was either stoned or had pink eye again after he managed to snooze his 7:00 AM alarm and wake up at 11:10 AM. Things got even weirder when we started playing "First and Last" and realized about three lyrics in that we were doing the exact same song from yesterday. The fatigue is real, loves!
Spiritual Moments & Billy Joel
It wasn't all chaos and awkward interviews, though. We took a moment to appreciate the beautiful Te Reo Māori cover of "Lean On Me" by Stan Walker and Tawhaz, which had the whole room feeling the spirit. Ash also shared a gorgeous fact about Billy Joel giving front-row seats to fans at the back of the arena to keep the energy high. From awkward silences to heartfelt tears, today’s episode really hit every single emotion.
