The Dire Straits Experience is more than a tribute, it is a world-class ensemble led by original Dire Straits saxophonist Chris White. Having performed on the iconic Brothers In Arms and On Every Street world tours, White brings an incredible level of DNA and history to the production. Alongside him is the celebrated singer and guitarist Terence Reis, who captures the soul and technical brilliance of Knopfler’s guitar work with stunning precision.

New Zealand holds a special place in the history of the band. The original 1986 Brothers In Arms tour remains legendary here, having broken attendance records that stood for over thirty years. This 2026 tour, titled Long Highway, celebrates that enduring bond. From the soaring builds of Telegraph Road to the groove of Money for Nothing and the poetic Romeo and Juliet, the two-hour show is a masterclass in rock history.

The band itself is comprised of some of the finest session musicians in the world, with collective credits ranging from Paul McCartney and Joe Cocker to Mark Knopfler’s own solo projects. This is a rare opportunity to see these anthems performed with the full concert production and musical power they deserve.

Tickets go on sale Thursday 7 May. These shows are strictly limited to one night per city, so make sure you’re ready to secure your spot for a night of world-class rock and roll.
