The Crusade with Heart Long Run 2027

The Long Run returns for its fifth and biggest year yet on Friday 22 January 2027.

In 2026, our community came together in an incredible way. Over 40,000 laps were completed, generous donations flowed in, and together we raised more than $280,000 for the Child Cancer Foundation.

The Long Run once again showed the power of our Crusaders whānau, uniting people of all ages and abilities behind a cause that makes a real difference. Every lap completed and every dollar raised helped support children and families facing one of life's toughest challenges.

Now it's time to do it again.

In 2027, The Long Run is aiming higher than ever before, with a goal of 100,000 laps and $500,000 raised for the Child Cancer Foundation which will see a total of $1 million raised since the Long Run began five years ago. We'd love for you to be part of the journey.

Registrations are now open, and as always, The Long Run is a FREE community event. Whether you're planning to walk, run, jog, or simply show your support, there's a place for everyone.
