Mitre 10 Mega Napier and Hastings are proud to once again bring Hawke’s Bay the annual Mitre 10 Mega Walk.

Over the past 16 years, this special community event has raised more than $306,000, supporting young people and their families here in Hawke’s Bay living with cancer.

This year, every dollar raised stays local, going directly to The Acorn Project Hawke’s Bay, who provide wraparound support for young people aged 12–24 and their families as they face life with cancer.

There’s Four Events to Choose From:

There’s a walk (or run!) for everyone, from seasoned walkers to families with little ones.

The Mitre 10 MEGA 23km:

• Starts 7:00am, Clive Grange Domain Reserve, 6/4 Domain Road, Haumoana

• Route: riverbank trails through Clive, along coastal trails to Ahuriri finish line

• Average walking time: 4.5 hours

• Cut-off point: Awatoto (12km) by 9:30am

The ANZ 12km:

• Starts 9:00am, Waitangi Regional Park

• Route: Marine Parade to Ahuriri finish line

• Average time: 2.5 hours

The Harcourts 5km:

• Starts 10:00am, Spirit of Napier on Marine Parade

• Average walking time: 1 hour

The Langley Twigg Law 3km:

• Starts 10:30am, behind Ocean Spa on Marine Parade

• Average walking time: 36 minutes
