Red Bull Rail Riot takes over Wānaka on 5 September: a free-to-enter event at Pembroke Park, right in the heart of town from 2pm to 8pm.

This event is taking winter sport off the mountain. No chairlift, no hike, just a custom rail setup and the country's best freeskiers and snowboarders, with the crowd close enough to feel every send.

Features some of New Zealand's top snow sport talent, including Red Bull athletes Nico Porteous, Cool Wakushima, Finn Bilous, and Txema Mazet-Brown (UK).

Food and drinks available on site, with George FM supplying the tunes all night long.

Red Bull Rail Riot is open to the public AND to compete! Wildcard entry selections start at 2pm, with the competition kicking off at approximately 4pm.
