Pack The Bus Hawkes Bay

Hawke’s Bay’s The Breeze is proud to present Pack The Bus, back for 2026 thanks to Property Brokers! This year, we’re collecting donations for the Napier and Hastings Corps of The Salvation Army.

We’re collecting presents for kids and non-perishable food to help local families enjoy a happier, more joyful Christmas. Every donation, big or small, can make a real difference to families who need a little extra support over the festive season.

The Salvation Army supports more than 15,000 people in need every year. Their work goes well beyond providing food and clothing, with a wide range of community services including financial training, drug and alcohol support, and courses in schools.

By donating to Pack The Bus this year, you’ll be helping support the incredible work The Salvation Army does throughout our community, while helping local families have a brighter Christmas. Together, we can make a difference for those who need it most this festive season.

What are we looking for?

- Non-perishable foods: Cans, pasta, rice, flour, spices, oats, breakfast cereals, spreads, jams, honey, cooking oil, pasta sauce, long life milk, nuts, muesli bars, crackers, dried fruit, fruit cups.

- Other items i.e. Toilet Paper, Toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner, soap, deodorant, sanitary items, nappies, baby wipes, washing liquid.

- Toys: New, unwrapped presents for kids of all ages.
