Napier Operatic Society presents: The Full Monty

Get ready to 'let it go' because the Napier Operatic Society is bringing the heat to the Tabard Theatre! As the official media partner, The Breeze Hawke’s Bay is thrilled to support this hilarious, heartfelt, and (mostly) revealing production of the Broadway smash hit, The Full Monty.

About the Show:

Based on the beloved 1997 film, this musical moves the action from Sheffield to Buffalo, New York, where six unemployed steelworkers are feeling the pinch. With no jobs, no cash, and a bruised sense of pride, the men find themselves at a crossroads.

After seeing their wives go wild for a group of professional male strippers, they hatch a daring plan to make some quick cash by forming their own act. But these aren't your typical 'Adonis' types - they're real men with real bodies, real fears, and real hearts. As they navigate rehearsals, they find that the biggest challenge isn't the choreography, but overcoming their own inner demons. Through laughter and friendship, they discover the strength to stand tall - and eventually, to bear it all!
