Winter is about to get a whole lot colder and a lot more fun.
More FM and Summit Refrigeration are once again inviting brave locals to dip their toes in on the shortest day of the year with an unforgettable Mid-Winter Swim event in New Plymouth.
The More FM crew will be at New Plymouth Yacht Club in the early hours of Thursday, 19 June, as participants gather to take on the icy morning waters and celebrate the winter solstice in true Kiwi style.
From outrageous costumes to fearless plunges, this annual event promises plenty of laughs, community spirit, and a refreshing start to the day.

Participants are encouraged to dress up, bring their mates, and embrace the chill. There’ll even be a prize up for grabs, with the best-dressed participant winning a voucher.
Whether you're diving in headfirst or just cheering from the shore with a hot coffee, the Polar Plunge is set to be one of the coolest community events of the season.
So layer up, get creative with your costume, and get ready for an epic polar plunge you won’t forget.
