CHALLENGE WANAKA

Challenge Wānaka is one of the most iconic endurance weekends in New Zealand.

19th - 21st February | Lake Wanaka

The event takes over the shores of Lake Wānaka, with athletes from all over the world swimming, cycling, and running through some of the most breathtaking scenery you’ll ever see.

There are two main events across the weekend, the Half Middle Distance Triathlon and the AquaBike. Whether you’re a seasoned triathlete or just love a challenge, it’s an incredible experience. The atmosphere is electric, the views are unreal, and the whole town gets behind it.

It’s all part of the global Challenge Family series, but what makes the Wānaka event so special is its community vibe, everyone from elite competitors to first-timers are cheered on like locals.
