More FM is supporting Nova and her journey with Ichthyosis

More FM Taupō is throwing its support behind three-year-old Nova, who is living with a rare genetic skin condition called Ichthyosis, in a special live broadcast and community fundraiser aimed at easing pressure on her family.

Join us on Saturday May 16th as we broadcast LIVE from the Hole In One Challenge to raise funds for the cause!

Nova suffers from a rare genetic skin condition called Ichthyosis which affects 1 in 500,000 people. Her care is intensive, requiring specialised skincare every three hours during the day, and sometimes once or twice overnight depending on her comfort levels. Standard creams in New Zealand are not effective, so she relies on products from the United States, costing around $60 per tub, with four tubs used each week.

We want to help take some of this financial burden off her family and you can help!

We will be hanging out at the Hole in One Challenge on Saturday May 16th raising funds for the cause. Come down, have a swing, with proceeds going towards Nova and her family.
