Get ready to brave the cold and support a great local cause with the Whanganui Surf Life Saving Club Polar Plunge, proudly supported by Sport Whanganui!
Round up your mates, throw on your most outrageous costume, or rock your favourite pair of budgy smugglers and take the plunge for a fantastic cause. Every splash helps support the amazing volunteers at the Whanganui Surf Life Saving Club and the important work they do keeping our beaches safe.
Whether you’re diving in or cheering from the sidelines, it’s set to be a fun community day for all ages.
Once you’ve conquered the cold, warm up with a sausage sizzle and hot soup afterwards.
Join us Sunday 21st June at Castlecliff Beach. The plunge starts at 12pm sharp, so make sure you arrive early and get ready for a freezing good time!
$5 cash donation per person - all funds go to the Whanganui Surf Lifesaving Club.
