This year is a proper throwback to seven decades of innovation on the water. You can explore hundreds of exhibitors, check out the latest offshore rigs, and score show-only specials that you won't find anywhere else. From the Shimano Fishing Pavilion to the new Catch N’ Cruise zone, there is a massive range of gear to get stuck into whether you are a seasoned pro or just getting started.

The legendary grand prize is back and bigger than ever to mark the anniversary. One lucky visitor will walk away with a Surtees 770 Game Fisher XL powered by a Yamaha F350 V6 outboard, a total package worth more than $380,000. All you need to do is register your ticket and scan in at the designated points around the show to be in the draw.

It is not just about the big boats, though. The show is packed with free Shimano Masterclasses featuring Matt Watson, kids' fishing workshops, and safety sessions to help you upskill. With food trucks, bumper boats, and a 70-year nostalgia display in Hall 1, it is a great day out for the whole whānau.

Tickets are available now, and if you grab yours online before midnight on Monday 11 May, you will double your chances in the grand prize draw. Get the crew together and head along to celebrate 70 years of New Zealand's boating history.
